Leitrim County Council & PPN “Love Where You Live” Awards 2018.
Great celebrations with the many voluntary groups from around the county. We are so lucky with the level of Active Citizenship in Leitrim. Thank you to all.
Thank you to everyone who came to the opening of Drumsna’s Playground & Fr Kevin Sullivan Memorial Garden.
Particular thanks to all Fr Sullivan’s relatives who joined us for the celebrations.
Humbled by the surprise plaque of recognition, it really should list all the Drumsna Development Association members, past and present, but Thank you !!
These projects wouldn’t have been possible without the support of, and funding from, Leitrim County Council and Leitrim Development Company. With all additional work done by local businesses, Drumsna Garden Centre and Kevin Mc Kenna at Pinestone.
And off course everyone who supports our many local fundraising events. Thanks to all!!!!
Thankfully Superman (or Superwoman) once again, has somewhere to go and change!! in the “Sna”.
The official opening, this evening, of the New/Old phone box, as part of Heritage week in Drumsna.
The phone box was created and crafted, and then gifted to the village, from Colm and Raymond McHugh, from Drumcree Joinery. Very skilled local craftsmen and designers.
What a wonderful kind gesture. The phone box ,as the Irish name represents, will be our information point in the village
