Canadian Ambassador, Kevin Vickers, attended the Leitrim Village Development 1916 Commemorative Committee’s events this evening, planting a tree in remembrance of Sean Mac Diarmada at the wall of O’Rourke’s castle and unveiling the Proclamation at St Joseph’s Centre. Great performance by local children representing the 7 signatories of the Proclamation.
